The books for everything you run, in one place.

BooksMaxxing is accounting software for people with a business or two, a rental property, and a household to keep track of. It runs on your own computer, and AI does the categorizing for you to approve.

Every business gets its own books

Add a book for each business and rental property. Personal is one too. Each has its own chart of accounts, profit and loss, and balance sheet.

Shared cards are fine. Charge a client lunch, a faucet for the rental, and groceries to the same card, then assign each charge to the right book or split it across several. Every book still balances on its own.

Your rules and the AI suggest a book and category for each transaction. Nothing counts in your reports until you approve it. Bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key.

Receipts that find their own charge

Add a photo or PDF when you get the receipt, days before the charge posts. The AI reads the merchant, date, and total, and attaches the receipt when the charge shows up on your statement, tip included.

Order confirmations work too. The email itself becomes the receipt.

Invoices from whichever company did the work

Pick the company on each invoice, and it goes out under that company's name, address, and payment instructions. Email it as a PDF.

Clients can mail a check or pay by bank transfer through Stripe, with the processing fee added to their total. When the payment arrives, the invoice is marked paid.
